Paragliding in Nepal

Paragliding is newly introduced adventure sport in Nepal. It is very popular tourism product even in the short span of time. Paragliding can be a truly wonderful and thrilling experience for adventure seeker. A flying trip will take you over some of the best scenery in the world while you sharing the airspace with eagles, kites are float over villages and lakes with wonderful views of majestic Himalaya
Paragliding is a weather dependent sport activities, raining and windy thunder storm is the most affecting factor. The best time begins from October till the end of May. However, it can be operate any time of the year taking the weather in the consideration.

Paragliding is operating in two different places in Nepal, Pokhara and Kathmandu. The flight from Kathmandu was taking place just a couple of month before. While flight from Pokhara was operated since couple of years and very popular too.
The flight take place from a famous hill side station called Sarangkot overlooking the Pokhara valley in the east while superb views of Annapurnas & Fishtail Mountains in the north. In the flight you will not be alone while number of birds & kites are also competing with you. The lifetime experience flight will last in about 30 to 45 minutes and landed on the rice field of Phewa Lake.
